As a global player, Eisen fully supports initiatives establishing internationally recognized social and environmental standards. This policy is documented and certified by globally recognized auditing systems.

ISO 9001 is a globally recognized standard for quality management systems (QMS) that helps organizations improve their performance and meet customer expectations. It sets out the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving a QMS.
Social Accountability 8000 (SA 8000) is an international standard for social accountability management systems. It was developed in 1997 by Social Accountability International, formerly the Council on Economic Priorities Accreditation Agency, by an advisory board consisting of trade unions, NGOs, civil society organizations and companies. The SA 8000’s criteria were developed from various industry and corporate codes to create a common standard for social welfare compliance.


The international environmental management standard ISO 14001 defines globally recognized requirements for an environmental management system and is part of a family of standards on environmental management. This includes numerous other standards on various areas of environmental management, including life cycle assessments, environmental performance indicators and environmental performance evaluation.
The amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative (amfori BSCI), founded in 2003 as the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI), is a program of the business-related association amfori to improve social standards in a global value chain. The Brussels-based organization offers business enterprises the adoption of or adherence to a code of conduct as well as a systematic monitoring and qualification system.


ISO 45001 is a standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in March 2018 and describes requirements for an occupational health and safety management system (OH&S management system) as well as instructions for implementation.
